Red Dead Redemption 2 gets tons of new missions in gorgeous mod

Red Dead Redemption 2 players have an excuse to dive back into the game's stunning open world once again, as a glorious amount of new missions have been added to the game thanks to the hard work of fans.

The modding community for Red Dead Redemption 2 has taken the game and really ran with it since it launched nearly five years ago, adding a huge amount of shiny new content to keep the game alive - which is far more than Rockstar has done

Take a look at some of the best Red Dead Redemption 2 wins and fails below!

Thanks to modders Red Dead Redemption 2 can feel like an entirely new game. There are new properties to own, new graphics settings that make a gorgeous game look even better, and even entirely new missions and bounties to track down.

This particular mod expands on one of the base game's best features in a big way, offering no less than 30 new bandit hideouts to discover and take down. If one of your favourite parts of Red Dead Redemption 2 was filling yeller bellied no-good scoundrels full of lead, this is the mod for you.

Bandit Hideouts, created by crossed99 and Gunter Severlon, expands the game's open world with these new areas, but you will have to track down the locations yourself. The good news is there's a map you can make use of, so be sure to thoroughly search the caves, woods, and mountains - the fiends could be anywhere.

If you're really feeling a challenge, you can actually change the number of gang members that appear in each hideout. Alternatively, you can make it a little easier for yourself if you need to. Just be sure not to start a fight you can't finish, since the bad guys will chase you down if you decide to waltz in, shoot a few of them, and then run away. Can't say I blame them.
