You can claim free DLC in Red Dead Redemption 2 but you only have a limited time, so you might want to act fast to avoid missing out.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is an amazing game and that might be putting it lightly. Starring Arthur Morgan, a leading member of the infamous Dutch van der Linde gang, the single-player campaign is set before the events of the critically acclaimed 2010 game.

Without giving too much away, despite how much of a great developer Rockstar Games is, even when you throw Grand Theft Auto into the mix, no game from this studio has pulled at my heartstrings quite like Red Dead Redemption 2.

However, once you are done with the lengthy and fulfilling campaign of Red Dead Redemption 2, you can jump into its multiplayer offering bundled with the game, Red Dead Online.

Sure, Red Dead Online might not be supported with the same level of content as GTA Online which benefits from free expansion-sized updates but that’s not to say that there’s not plenty of freebie goodness with the Wild West counterpart.

Blood Money Opportunities are dishing out Triple Rewards in Red Dead Online, and Blood Money Contracts are paying out double through February 3.

The latest event for Red Dead Online is ‘Blood Money Bonuses’ which rewards you with free DLC, bonus XP and currency just by playing the game.

As part of the ‘Hardcore Featured Series’, if you rank up five times or reach at least Rank 20 as a Collector, you will be rewarded with the grey Pelt Half Chaps for free. But you only have until 27 January, so act fast.

Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online are out now on PC, PlayStation and Xbox. As for Rockstar Games’ other title, GTA VI, that’s currently expected to launch late this year, that's unless it suffers a delay, which is always a possibility.
