This Red Dead Redemption 2 trick lets you play as Arthur Morgan in the epilogue with no mods needed.
Despite the number in its name, Red Dead Redemption 2 is the prequel to the Rockstar Games title that was originally released in 2010 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Red Dead Redemption 2 has a compelling story starring Arthur Morgan, a leading member of the Dutch van der Linde gang. It also has a gorgeous open world and tons of fun side activities that may make you forget about the superb main campaign.

Before we proceed, I am about to go into spoilers for the conclusion and epilogue of Red Dead Redemption 2, so consider this to be your final spoiler warning.
During the last mission of the main campaign, Arthur Morgan dies, and no matter what actions you take in the story, his death is inevitable. Well, as long as you follow the script, that is.
Once you play out Arthur’s final chapter, we’re treated to an epilogue campaign, which almost feels like a story expansion. In this epilogue, you play as John Marston, the main character of 2010’s Red Dead Redemption.
With the sequel being a prequel, John Marston’s epilogue gradually leads up to the events of Red Dead Redemption. However, what if you wanted to play as Arthur in the epilogue? That would be impossible, right?

Playing as Arthur in the epilogue isn't possible at first glance, unless you follow the step-by-step instructions shown in the TikTok video from JohnMarstonReai to exploit a glitch.
First, go to the exact location on the map shown in the video. Replay the chapter ‘Americans at Rest’. At this point, you should spawn at Owanjila Lake if successful.
Now, make a new save as Arthur, then reload into that save to play camp missions, and whatnot. From here, you should be able to replay any mission, but stranger missions will be reset, according to the video.

Judging by the comments section, performing this glitch has been a bit hit and miss, but it has seemingly worked for some, so it’s at least worth a try.
