When it comes to storytelling, it is pretty damn hard to beat Rockstar Games and this latest discovery from Red Dead Redemption 2 proves just that.

Hailed as a masterpiece in gaming, Red Dead Redemption 2 captured everybody’s heart back in 2018 and continues to do so almost six-years on.

Check out the trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 below!

However, a discovery over on r/reddeadredemption has drawn fan’s attention to a parallel scene that just goes to show the level of detail Rockstar put into the title.

We know that both Jack and Arthur’s stories are told over the course of the Red Dead series but what we didn’t fully realise is how much their experiences mirror each other.

However, two scenes that were pointed out by one user do just that.

The first screenshot shows the beginning of Red Dead Redemption 2 where Arthur is on a mission to save John.

On his way, he is confronted by three wolves who he must take down to advance forward.

The second screenshot now shows John at the end of the game as he attempts to avenge Arthur and this time, he is confronted by three men standing in a very similar formation to the wolves.

I don’t need to explain the symbolism to you but it is clear that this was either a very strong coincidence or Rockstar uses this to show the parallels between the two men.

The parallel, which is easily missed, has impressed fans with many taking to the comments to share their amazement.

“This is a great post. No explanation, yet completely revealing,” one comment read.

Another said: “Never saw it like that but now I can't not see it .. if only I could first run this game over and over”.

This discovery just goes to show that we may never fully uncover all there is to find in Red Dead Redemption 2.

However, we are going to try our damn hardest to.
