Red Dead Redemption 2 player discovers incredible open world event after 100 hours

One Red Dead Redemption 2 player has discovered an incredible open world event after six playthroughs.

GTA VI is the talk of the town and understandably so. I’ve never known a trailer be quite so highly-anticipated.

Thank goodness the trailer is just as epic as we’d hoped. Fans are already blown away by GTA VI’s graphics and sense of humour. It’s breaking a whole host of viewing records, including one set by YouTuber MrBeast. Unfortunately, the worst news is that we still have to wait until 2025 for the game to launch but we should’ve expected as much based on previous Rockstar Games reveals. Hopefully, one day, we’ll see Rockstar return to the epic Red Dead franchise although that’s clearly not going to happen anytime soon. Luckily, fans are still managing to find ‘fresh’ discoveries in Red Dead Redemption 2 five years after release, including this very odd interaction.

Take a look at the brand new GTA VI trailer below.

Reddit user E_Hendricks3185 was on their sixth Red Dead Redemption 2 playthrough when a woman asked if she could join the player by their campfire. A rather … frazzled woman. After sitting down, the woman began raving about how she’d got ‘turned around’ a couple of days ago, before going on to talk about squirrels, moonshine, and waking up in the creek. She finished by saying that her village was haunted by a body-snatching demon.

It’s quite an unsettling encounter. The woman ends up running away after getting the spooks. The OP wrote, “Has anyone else had this interaction with this woman? I’m on my sixth playthrough and this is my first time meeting her?” User whtda_hell_univrs_iz replied, “Wow. Never got to see this before. This game never fails to amaze me.”

Another user shared that it took them four playthroughs before they stumbled across the interaction, while worthonet commented, “I have 230 hours on this game and never have seen this. This game never stops surprising me.” Of course, some players were familiar with the interaction too but it just goes to show how many details this game is packed with. It truly does take you playthrough after playthrough to experience them all.
