Red Dead Redemption 2 players spot hilarious detail they can't unsee

I want to know who first spotted this

Have you ever thought about examining your horse's balls in Red Dead Redemption 2? I’d hope the answer is no, but someone’s must’ve been yes because one player has spotted a hilarious detail that, unfortunately, we’re not going to be able to unsee.

It’s no secret that Red Dead Redemption 2 boasts one of the most detailed open worlds out there.

Rockstar Games really cooked with this one, adding an exquisite level of attention to detail that’ll probably go unnoticed by many players.

As pointed out in a thread by Twitter, or X, user NikTekOfficial, if you remove your horses saddle, you’ll be able to see sweat marks left on their back, or if you shoot a hole in your boat, you can stop and watch as water slowly trickles through it, eventually causing you to sink.

The detail that’s grabbed most people’s attention though concerns your horse’s testicles of all things.

Watch some of our favourite Red Dead Redemption 2 wins and fails below.

“Horses balls will shrink depending on the weather conditions,” wrote NikTekOfficial showing a comparison of summer … specimens … compared to winter ones.

Needless to say, indeed, one set is smaller than the other.

It’s a biologically accurate little detail so I suppose it’s impressive to think that developers thought of adding such a thing yet it left players with a few questions.

“Alright, which one of you freaks found this one?” asked Twitter user SilveryCorp.

“I never realised it. I’ll check it next time,” wrote an amused godfredaddai11.

“Imagine you go through school, getting qualified as a dev, you get a dream job at a titan like Rockstar, excited for your first day and then your boss tells you you’re assigned to do the temperature physics on horse balls for the next 18 months,” said MattiusVii.

“Okay team, who wants to be in charge of balls?” joked Mini_Couperr.

Well there you have it. A Red Dead Redemption 2 detail you likely didn’t know about and probably didn’t need to know about, but I bet that doesn’t stop you from having an ogle next time you open up the game.
