One of the age old debates in video games has always been what platform to choose, but this Chinese YouTuber might have solved our issue.
The days of the console wars were obviously the high point of this phenomena, but people still often choose and stick to one platform, usually to consolidate their efforts in one place, and because of just how expensive new hardware is these days.
If you're lucky enough to not have to choose and can afford multiple consoles or a powerful PC, then you really are one of the lucky ones these days, but even that doesn't come without its drawbacks.
Specifically, switching backwards and forwards can be a bit of a pain, unless you have a setup that allows you to do it easily, with convenience often serving as the reason players tend to favour one console.

Now, one particularly ingenious Chinese YouTuber has taken matters into their own hands to address this potential issue, and you won't believe what the final product manages to look like.

Every Console in One Convenient Cube
As first reported by the good folks over at Dexerto.com, YouTuber 小宁子 XNZ has created a single console that plays games from the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, all in one convenient package.

Amusingly dubbed the Ningtendo PXBOX 5 by its creator, the console is housed in one Series X-like cube (only this time it's white), and it's a pretty ingenious way of putting it all together.
Essentially, they have stripped out a ton of the parts and cooling options from the original systems, with all three consoles being cooled by a large fan that draws air in from the bottom.
They kept the essential features like the motherboard and onboard graphics, to keep the core of their proprietary systems, but almost everything else was stripped away outside of that.
A new 250W power supply turned out to be enough (to my surprise), though it does obviously mean that only one game can be running at any one time.

The custom case was 3D printed and looks surprisingly great, even if it is a little garish for my taste, but the real kicker is the small built-in button which cycles between the consoles, taking about three seconds in total to do so.
It's a genuinely impressive project and one that I would love to try myself, given that I'm much too physically incapable to consider building one for myself.
