Pokémon Day 2026 is just around the corner, with a Presents Livestream confirmed for February 27. With announcements just a week away, fans have locked onto leaks, with alleged early concept art of Gen 10 fueling speculation.

It has been four years since the release of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, and due to a variety of factors, the game didn’t have as long a lifespan as previous entries in the series. Because of this, players have started pushing for Gen 10, eager for details.

Speculation has run rampant on social media for months, with alleged leaks appearing on various accounts. One of the most recent shows what could be an early look at Gen 10 concept art next to early images of Scarlet & Violet.

The quality of the potential concept art has left fans furious, with many vocalizing skepticism about the future of Gen 10.

Pokémon Fans Are Furious At Concept Art Quality

In a social media post shared by Centro Leaks, the account alleges that they have found early concept art for Gen 10. The post also includes Gen 9 concept art, placing them side by side for comparison.

In the comments, fans have reacted to the two images, putting Pokémon on blast for Gen 9 concept art that they feel looks much better than the visuals found in Scarlet & Violet.

One player states, “Why is the “concept art” for gen 9 better than what the game realistically looked like when it came out?”

Centro Leaks clarifies that the concept art looks better because it was an idealized imagining of the world before development, but the difference between the Gen 9 art and actual gameplay has fans feeling uneasy about the future of Gen 10.

The alleged Gen 10 art looks beautiful, with a saturated world filled with dense vegetation.

However, few fans in the comments felt optimistic that the next mainline games would come close to such detailed graphics.

Many doubt that the Switch could run such an intense game, while others don’t trust that The Pokémon Company would deliver something so graphically enhanced after several games that have struggled with graphics and overall world structure.

At this time, there has been no official announcement of a Gen 10 game from The Pokémon Company.

This leaves all leaks as speculation, so take all this with a pinch of salt for now!

However, keep your eyes peeled on 27 February - Pokémon Day - for the 30th anniversary stream and any more announcements on the latest generation of Pokémon!
