The latest PlayStation Plus free monthly games just dropped, and are saving users and outstanding amount of cash.

Every month, PlayStatin Plus updates its offerings for all tiers, adding new titles and game trials for Extra and Premium subscribers, as well as three free games for users across all tiers. While the free games aren’t always a smash-hit with fans, they generally contain significant value, with July’s offering being no different.

The first game worth mentioning is Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, which was released in 2021 and is worth picking up for the single player campaign alone. While the multiplayer failed to impress a lot of players, it still has a decent amount of active users, and many have looked back on the game with hindsight and determined it was a pretty solid entry in the series, all issues aside. That being said, some PS Plus subscribers are reluctant to download the game, even if it’s free, due to its extraordinarily big install-size…

Next is Alan Wake: Remastered, a fine addition to the service, especially since its sequel, Alan Wake 2, is releasing later this year. The remastered version improves several visual elements, like textures, lighting, resolution and more, as well as boosting the framerate to a smooth 60fps. It also includes both of its DLC expansions, The Signal and The Writer.

Finally, Endling: Extinction is an indie-survival game that’s being hailed as a “perfect” addition to the line-up. The game places you into the role of a mother fox, who must protect her cubs and teach them how to survive in a deadly, and merciless environment.

Altogether the three games run up to £110 if bought without the PS Plus benefit so it’s a pretty good deal, even if only one of two of the games catches your eye. Once downloaded, they’re yours to keep forever, so it’s well-worth adding them to your library, even if you’re on the fence about them.

Subscribers have until the end of the month to pick these three games up, before they’re cycled out with three new ones.
