Some PSN users have been sent 10% discount codes for the PS Store directly from PlayStation - here's how to claim it.

We all love a good deal, don’t we? When games are as expensive as they are, every bit you can save helps, and some PlayStation users are currently eligible for a sweet discount on anything they want from the PS Store. What a win.

Yesterday, PlayStation announced the titles that are going to be free for Essential tier PS Plus subscribers to download this month. In case you missed it, from 7 February, subscribers will be able to grab OlliOlli World, Mafia: Definitive Edition, Evil Dead: The Game, and the Destiny 2 Beyond Light DLC. I don’t know about you, but I’d say that’s a pretty solid month.

PS Plus subscribers have just a few more days to claim Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order for free. Be sure to get caught up before Jedi: Survivor releases in April.

The free PS Plus games are all well and good if you’re already a subscriber and actually care about playing the titles that are being offered, though. Thankfully, this new discount can be used on whatever you like. As Push Square reports, some PSN members have been sent 10% discount codes which can be used on any one PS Store transaction during (most of) February. It doesn’t have to be used on just one game, either - you can add whatever you like to your basket (including DLC) and get 10% off the lot when you proceed to checkout, giving the potential for some serious savings.

Be sure to check your emails to see if you’re one of the lucky few - not everyone is being sent a code. They don't appear to be exclusively for PlayStation Plus subscribers, though - as long as you have a PSN account, it seems that you’re in with a chance of nabbing one. And, if you're not bothered about using it yourself, you can always do a good deed and pass it on to someone else.
