“20 years after the award-winning action-adventure hit, Outcast, pioneered the genre of non-linear open-world games, the long-awaited sequel sees Cutter Slade return to the spectacular alien world of Adelpha,” reads the synopsis of the game. “Resurrected by the almighty Yods, he has returned to find the Talans enslaved, the world stripped of its natural resources, and his own past intertwining with the invading robot forces. It's up to him to go on a mission and save the planet again.”

Fans who have been long awaiting this sequel are in for a treat because they can play the game for free ahead of its highly anticipated launch. Right now you can download the Outcast - A New Beginning demo on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Best of all, you will not need a PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass Core subscription to play the demo.

“Embark on an unforgettable journey into the breathtaking world of Adelpha in this demo for Outcast – A New Beginning. Engage in fast-paced 3rd-person combat, unleash the power of your jetpack, explore stunning landscapes and support the local Talans in their uprising,” teases the demo description.

Outcast - A New Beginning will be released on 15 March 2024.
