Xbox Game Pass already has four free games confirmed for September

Four games ranging from online multiplayer RPGs to top-down action games are confirmed for next month.

Xbox Game Pass users have just had their August free games announced, but four titles for September have already been confirmed as well.

Xbox Game Pass’ August lineup includes the likes of Date Everything, Sandustry, and PowerWash Simulator 2, and for the most part, it’s a fairly sizable amount of offerings depending on which tier you’re subscribed to.

In addition to that, we have confirmation about four games which are set to launch on Microsoft’s all-you-can-play service next month.

As reported by Pure Xbox, these games range from a top-down action RPG to open-world MMOs, so there’s quite a bit of variety here.

Dune: Awakening

Release Date: September 22, 2026
Availability: Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass

Based on the popular novels by Frank Herbert (as well as heavily inspired by the movie trilogy directed by Denis Villeneuve), Dune: Awakening came out on PC last year, before heading to console in September.

Minecraft Dungeons 2

Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault
