Starfield fans are already looking ahead to the upcoming expansion, Shattered Space, and putting together their DLC wishlists as we speak.

After garnering over six million players, hoarding loads of positive reviews from critics, and already starting work on its next major update, Starfield is on track for plenty of post-launch support.

Check out our review of the game below!

Bethesda has promised to continue releasing updates for the game for the next few years, and while a lot of them will be bug fixes and stability updates, some DLC expansions are also planned.

The first DLC has already been identified as Shattered Space, and while we don’t know much about it at the moment, fans have already gone wild thinking about what could, and should, be added.

Reddit user CT-4426 asked the question “What content do you hope becomes DLC either in Shattered Space or in other DLCs down the road? I’ll start. Playable mechs that can be used as transport on planet surfaces. Kaiser as a companion, I mean c'mon I wanted to hang with him far more than Hadrian [not gonna lie], [plus] House Va’ruun is a fully joinable and fleshed-out faction.”

Fans were all on board with the ideas, but many had their own creative suggestions as well, ranging from new areas to explore, more things to build and better ships to fly. “I really want space station construction. For a game where humanity is a group of space refugees with few habitable planets and terrormorphs popping up everywhere, space stations are a cool way to expand vertically,” said one user.

“House Va'ruun is an obvious one. [...] Modifiable Vasco. Robo dog companion. Two to four more romance companions with quests. More quests for existing companions," added another user.

“I would like to see fighter ships. One-man craft, no grav system, just fast and manoeuvrable, and can be permanently docked to your transport ship," read one comment.

Starfield’s Shattered Space DLC is expected to release sometime in 2024, and will likely be the first of many expansions to flesh out the game’s universe.
