Steam free store credit available now, no strings attached

We love to see it

Steam gamers can currently grab themselves a decent chunk of free store credit by following a pretty easy series of steps. It's so easy even I could do it. And for full context, I am very dumb.

Yep, Steam users can currently grab themselves $20 of free store credit, which might not sound like a huge amount, but it'll definitely take you pretty far next time a sale rolls around.

The always beloved (and completely legit) Free Steam Games Twitter account has highlighted a new $20 store credit giveaway. To get involved in this latest giveaway, all you have to do is follow the steps outlined in this tweet. It doesn't actually say how long this competition is live for, however, so you probably wanna move quick.

If you don't fancy trying this out and still want to check out a few free games, you can take a look at some of the free trials below!

  • Factoria - I don't like to use the word addictive when I'm describing video games, but... Factoria is an incredibly hard game to put down. This demo will get its hooks in you.
  • Euro Truck Simulator 2 - If you need an excuse to listen to 'Driving Home For Christmas' over and over again, this is for you.
  • Final Fantasy XIV - A free trial of one of the best MMORPGs out there. You will lose yourself.
  • Sky: Children Of The Light - Gorgeous, and incredibly relaxing.
  • Bits And Bops - A gorgeous rhythm game.
  • Balatro - A poker roguelite, which seems like an odd combo.
  • Warm Snow - A stunning looking roguelike action RPG.
  • Backpack Battles - An inventory management auto battler that looks way too satisfying.
  • Half Sword - A very funny, but surprisingly historically accurate, battle simulator.
  • Street Fighter 6 - One of the best games of the year. I don't need to say anything more.
  • Bread And Fred - An adorable co-op platformer with penguins. Love penguins.
  • Davigo - Not really sure how to describe this one, but it looks really damn cool.
