Steam drops new batch of free downloads for us, no subscription needed

You can claim a batch of new downloads for free via Steam now

We all love some good video game freebies and if you want a few digital goodies at no cost or subscription needed, then we’ve got you covered.

Having a video game digital library nowadays is more than just having a collection of titles and DLC. It’s a place where we can express our video game interests and some of our personalities with profile pictures and dynamic themes. Oh, and it’s of course a place to show off our Xbox and Steam achievements, as well as PlayStation trophies.

The PC platform Steam is hosting the ‘Dinos vs Robots Fest’ which takes place from 26 February to 4 March 2024. During this event, you can claim hefty discounts on games such as Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition, Detroit: Become Human, Jurassic World Evolution 2, Ark: Survival Ascended and much more. Sadly, at the time of writing, Horizon Forbidden West hasn't been announced for PC, yet. However, we’re sure that Sony will make that announcement one day.

In our review of Horizon Forbidden West expansion, Burning Shores, we said: “All in all, Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores is a must-play. This isn’t simply ‘more of the same’. It’s a true elevation of everything that made Forbidden West great, against a backdrop of the franchise’s best storytelling to date. If Horizon 3 is anything like Burning Shores, we’re in for a real treat - and yet we know that Guerrilla continue to step up their game with each new release.”

As well as taking advantage of tidy discounts during Steam’s ‘Dinos vs Robots Fest’ event, you can also claim some free animated profile pictures to showcase on your Steam account for the world to see and look upon you with envy. Well, unless they’ve also claimed the freebies which is very likely and in which case, your boasting means absolutely nothing!

Nonetheless, if you have a Steam account, you might as well claim the free animated profile pictures just in case someone else hasn't and you can rub it in their faces.
