You can currently grab eight free games on Steam that you can download and keep forever, and this week’s list of free downloads features more than a few bangers.
Thank you in advance, as always, to whoever runs the Free Steam Games Twitter account for finding all of these free titles!
I will say ahead of time, I usually order these games in terms of what appears to be the worst to the best at a glance, but… this might be the strongest list of free games I’ve ever covered.

I’m still going to try to order them, but I’d genuinely suggest giving every title on this list a look for once. What a great time to own a PC.
First up, Me resbala! by developer and publisher Casanova Dev. It's (by the sounds of the reviews) a bit of an intentionally rage-inducing puzzle game. I know that's not everyone's cup of tea (myself included), so I'm going to put this one at the top of this list for now.
Alright, this one might technically not be a game, but it’s very cool, so I’m including it anyway.
ShaderGlass by developer and publisher mausimus is a “Video Production” download that lets you mess around with filters and stuff on your desktop. I’m kind of doing a bad job of describing it, but I do think it’s neat. Have a look at the video for yourself to decide on this one.

Next up is Labyrinthine Dread from developer Gamma Delta Pi and DigiPen Institute of Technology. It’s a top-down horror game that looks a little bit basic, but I very much trust DigiPen. Their work has always been impressive, and this one looks no different.
The Last Son of Vorona is a first-person souls-like from developer and publisher Brainrot Gaming, and I think this one looks cool. Weird visuals aside, the reviews are pretty positive, and I’m a bit of a sucker for first-person Souls games.
You know what, I’m gonna let the description talk for this next one.
Project: Ether “is a magical sci-fi stealth game” from developer and publisher Team: Ether “about trans witches fighting robots.” Sounds cool, I’m in.

Uh... Sime Is Back 18+ looks so weird. It's a 3D action-adventure platformer from developer and publisher Grande Spallone Games. Honestly, I’m trusting the reviewers on this one because it’s received nothing but praise.
Tankazooka is an arcade adventure game from developer and publisher BoomerHumour in which you shoot a tank at stuff. You read that correctly, by the way; you shoot the tank. Genuinely looks awesome.
Nanika Game Online is a cute little puzzle game from developer and publisher Marble Works that, surprisingly, has the best reviews out of anything on this list. Guess people really love matching different kinds of fruit.
And that’s the whole list! Kind of a banger list this time around. Personally, I’m gonna try out Tankazooka, but I don’t think you can go wrong trying out any of these.
