Steam drops 8 RPGs you can download and play free this weekend

In this day and age of the seemingly never-ending cost-of-living crisis, it’s always nice to try some popular video games for free before parting with our hard-earned cash.

Thankfully, the Steam marketplace on PC is a vibrant platform stacked with many video games across all genres that we can try before we buy which leads us to today’s article. In the hope of saving you a few quid, I’ve compiled a list of eight free RPG playable demos that you can download right now and enjoy this weekend and beyond.

Some of the free RPG demos that you can download today include the likes of Sand Land, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, and Final Fantasy XIV Online to name a few. Hopefully, you’ll discover at least one game that tickles your fancy.

In our review of Sand Land, GAMINGbible’s Sam said: “As someone who enjoyed the manga and the Disney+ series, I found it to be an admirable adaptation of its fantastic story, and being put into the driving seat of the tank and all the other vehicles was still good fun, even towards the end of the game.”
