It’s shaping up to be quite the week for gamers.
Replaced, Cthulu: The Cosmic Abyss, Mouse P.I. For Hire, Tomodachi Life: Living The Dream, and Pragmata will all have launched by the time the week is over.
Acquiring all of those titles, though would set you back quite a bit, so for those who are gaming on a budget, here are four new free games which have landed on PC storefront Steam.
Let’s begin with a hefty new RPG offering, Order of Kings.
Developed by DW Studio, this is an MMORPG that combines real-time and strategy elements as players partake in huge 3D battles.

“You're free to move your troops, command your soldiers with unique abilities and attack ranges for flexible tactics such as attack, dodge, focus fire, flank, etc,” the synopsis teases.
“Build your dream team with different types of soldiers to showcase your art of war.”
Players will want to use the terrain to their advantage as they look to block key routes or lure enemies into a trap.

With a 71% Mostly Positive rating from players, you should be in for a decently good time.
If you’re a fan of roguelites, you may enjoy Souper Bloody, which is also impressing players.
Created by six students from the bachelor Digital Arts & Entertainment course at Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen in Belgium, Souper Bloody takes players to a locale known as Underlasagne.
“Slaughter the vegetables that accidentally summoned your demonic self in this devilishly tasty action-packed roguelite hack-and-slash,” the synopsis reads.
“Upgrade your attacks and gain new spicy powers every run while exploring the depths of the Underlasagne.”
“Super fun little game, definitely challenging and I really enjoyed it,” reads one glowing review, while another added, “Really fun mechanics. The music is an absolute win! Definitely recommend.”

Plus, you’ll be supporting the next generation of game devs in picking this one up.
Indie team Techy Mau Game Studios brings us Mall Ryders, a “high-energy arcade adventure”.
Here, you’ll speed your way through a mall, “mastering movement, smashing obstacles, and embracing playful destruction”.
It looks as if there are some zany side activities as you tear your way through all of the mall’s various stores and encounter those based within them.
There’s no review consensus just yet.
Finally, gamers can download 2025: Mosaic Retrospective, which is the most polarising release in this batch of free games with just a Mixed consensus on Steam.
Created by Mark Ffrench, it’s a “picross/minesweeper hybrid featuring a single ENORMOUS puzzle inspired by global news stories from throughout the year”.
It’s perhaps a game with quite niche appeal, which is where the mixed response comes into play.

“Fun, chill logic game,” praised one player. Another said, “I’ve always loved this series as a way to relax before bed, but this one feels too political.”
