Stardew Valley is considered to be one of the best indie games of all time and to this very day, it has a vibrant community across its platforms.

Released in 2016, published and developed by indie studio ConcernedApe, Stardew Valley is the ultimate farming sim that you can just sit back, chill and lose countless hours in the process. So when another game comes along that offers us more of that indie darling charm with a hint of Minecraft, we are most certainly interested.

Check out the Oddsparks: An Automation Adventure trailer below!

The indie game in question is Oddsparks: An Automation Adventure, developed by Massive Miniteam and published by HandyGames. Oddsparks: An Automation Adventure is in its early access phase and best of all, you can download its free playable demo right now via Steam on PC.

If Oddsparks: An Automation Adventure isn't enough to get your added Stardew Valley fix, then the likes of Southfield might tickle your fancy or Lightyear Frontier which looks to also be inspired by sci-fi adventure, No Man’s Sky.

“Explore a strange fantasy world, uncover the mysteries of the past, automate your workshops, and go on adventures with your odd & adorable Sparks,” reads the description on the Steam store. “Oddsparks: An Automation Adventure is a blend of Automation and Real Time Strategy for single-player and online co-op. We made it for both the die-hard fans of the Automation genre and the Automation-curious!”

Oddsparks: An Automation Adventure is currently scheduled to be released on PC on 24 April 2024. Be sure to add this charming indie game to your Steam wishlist to be notified of its launch.
