Another beloved title is being from Steam for some users, and you haven’t got long left before it’s gone for good.
There’s been an alarming amount of delisting on Steam recently spanning a variety of popular franchises and even several indie games published by Warner Bros, but the latest title reportedly getting the axe is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection.

The collection features a whopping 13 games created by Konami, all of which were released between the years 1989 and 1994.

It includes arcade titles as well as home console releases for consoles like the Nintendo Entertainment System and Nintendo Super Entertainment System.
A recent notice on the Steam store has confirmed the collection will be delisted by the end of the month in Japan, with its final day being 29 March.
The reason for the game’s departure is unknown but it’s likely due to licensing issues, a common occurrence for IPs like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Fear not though, it seems the only country that’ll be losing the game will be Japan, and that being said it’s only the Steam version, physical copies will still be available for other platforms like the PlayStation 5.

Konami confirmed as much in a comment to Game Informer, which said Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection will not be removed from any online retailers outside of Japan.
So, if you’re outside of Japan you’ve got nothing to worry about, but if you are you haven’t got long left before Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection is gone for good.
At least it hasn’t been added to the long list of games everybody can’t play on Steam anymore.
