Pokémon Legendz Z-A is a very exciting game when you think about it, so it’s a shame we know next to nothing about it so far.

Announced earlier this year Pokémon Legendz Z-A is the next game in the Legends spin-off series, which takes players to open-world environments for a unique taking on catching and battling Pokémon.

Now aside from the fact it’s a new Legenda game, Z-A is exciting for a few reasons. The first being it’ll mark the return of Kalos from Pokémon X & Y which was originally supposed to get a third game but unfortunately never did.

It’s believed the game will follow-on from where Pokémon X & Y left off, also marking the return of Mega Evolutions which fans have been wanting to see again for a while now.

At the moment though details on the game are just rumours, which will apparently change later this year for Pokémon Day.

Leaker Khu has teased a brand-new trailer for the game is scheduled for before Pokémon Day, and will air alongside a new raid battle for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.

The raid battle will be five-stars in terms of challenge, and will give players the chance to fight and catch a shiny Rayquaza, which is definitely worth the effort.

Now take the trailer speculation with a pinch of salt, but if there’s any time of year to drop a new trailer it would be Pokémon Day, especially with no more Pokémon Directs planned to our knowledge.

Pokémon Legends Z-A is expected to release sometime in 2025 for the Nintendo Switch, as well as the highly secretive Nintendo Switch 2.

With that release date it’d make sense for the game to get a brief teaser trailer before the end of the year, though perhaps The Pokémon Company is waiting for Nintendo to announce its new console first.
