Xbox is finally getting one of PlayStation 5's best exclusives

After years, the game is finally coming to Xbox systems

Kena: Bridge of Spirits is coming to Xbox later this year, after originally being console-exclusive to PlayStation systems.

The game is scheduled for release on 15th August, and is launching on both Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, priced at £34.99. There's even exclusive content available for the game for Xbox users, with pirate hats available for the titular spirits in the gaming, and a new staff and golden rot skin available for Kena herself. The Xbox version of the titles will also be coming with the anniversary DLC for the game that originally launched back in 2022 and added new game plus along with new equippable charmstones that changed in-game abilities and stats.

The game is available in both digital and physical formats, with the physical edition of the game including a digital soundtrack and an exclusive sticker sheet. It's currently unclear if the physical edition of the game will cost more than the digital edition, though it's likely that with the addition of a digital soundtrack that it will retail at a higher price.

"We're thrilled to bring the story of Kena to a new audience on Xbox platforms. As out debut game, Kena means a great deal to everyone at the studio and the team is excited to share Kena's journey with more players - we really hope everyone enjoys meeting Kena and her Rot friends," Josh Grier, COO of developer Ember Lab said in a statement.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits first launched in September 2021 on PlayStation, and was also available on PC exclusively through the Epic Games Store. In September 2022, however, the developer launched the game on Steam, meaning that once the game comes to Xbox systems it'll be available to play on every major system other than the Nintendo Switch family of systems.
