An underrated Assassin’s Creed game is available with PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium at no extra cost, or you can claim it forever with a huge discount too.

Since its inception in 2007 on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed series has become one of the most popular video game franchises in the industry.

Each Assassin’s Creed adapts historic events to tell outlandish stories. For example, in 2017’s Assassin’s Creed Origins, Cleopatra VII Thea Philopator, who is a character in the game, is a real historical person who was the Queen of Egypt from 51 to 30 BC.

However, as far as I’m aware, there was no Bayek who got into a fight with Sobeck, a crocodile-headed Egyptian god. I suppose there could have been a bloke called Bayek, who may have believed he had a scrap with Sobeck, but I would strongly suspect that he had picked and eaten the wrong mushrooms for lunch.

Anyway, I’ve gone way off track! So, what is that underrated game that you can play right now with a PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscription? That very game is 2015’s Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.

“London, 1868. Lead your underworld organisation in the midst of the Industrial Revolution to break the corrupt stranglehold on the city in a visceral adventure filled with action, intrigue, and brutal combat,” reads the synopsis of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.

I don’t want to give too much away, but I love the combat and sense of exploration set in London of a bygone era. What’s more, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate’s story starring the twin duo of Jacob and Evie Frye had me hooked from start to finish.

It’s included in a subscription and has a heavy discount

What’s more, it still looks great today when being played on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. And, last year, it received a free new-gen update on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, giving it a much-needed 60 frames-per-second boost.

That’s not all, because Assassin’s Creed Syndicate currently has a whopping discount of 85% bringing the price down from £24.99 to just £3.74. Personally, I’d much rather play a few quid to keep it in my library and not have to rely on an active subscription. The discount expires on 21 November 2025.

So, what are you waiting for? Go and play Assassin’s Creed Syndicate right now, because it’s a blast!
