PlayStation has unveiled a brand new collaboration with Secret Lair, a sub-brand of Magic: The Gathering.
I’ll admit, I didn’t see this one coming but it’s everything I never knew I needed.
The Magic: The Gathering Secret Lair x PlayStation collaboration drops this October and features characters from some of the blue brand’s most beloved franchises including the likes of The Last of Us, God of War, Horizon, Ghost of Tsushima and Uncharted.
It’s always nice to have Nathan Drake return.

Did Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End wrap up his story perfectly? Yes.
I’d be lying, however, if I said I wasn’t desperate for the series’ return regardless.
Naughty Dog has contributed three Secret Lair packs.
One will centre around The Last of Us Part I, the second around The Last of Us Part II, and the third around Uncharted.

You can view Nathan Drake’s card below where he’s listed as a “treasure hunter”, “legendary creature”, and “human rogue”.
“We have so many longtime Magic: the Gathering fans at Naughty Dog, so it was an awesome experience to work with the Wizards on the Coast team to bring these cards to life,” Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann said.
“Knowing their team are also big fans of our games created this wonderfully collaborative process as we imagined all the ways these sets could pay tribute to both The Last of Us games, as well as the entire Uncharted series.”

This won’t be the only Uncharted card; it’s simply a tease of what’s to come.
It does make you wonder who will make the final cut.
Surely Elena and Sully will at the very least get cards? Perhaps Chloe, Nadine, and Sam too.

The PlayStation collab is due to land on 27 October and the franchises I’ve mentioned are just highlights of what’ll be featured.
The phrase “and more” was used. I’d be surprised if we didn’t see an Astro Bot pack.
As for the exact drop time, the collab will go live at 9am PT / 5pm BST / 6pm CEST on the Magic: The Gathering Secret Lair website.
I’ll be after some and I’m not even a trading card collector which does make me think the demand for this drop is going to be rather ridiculous.
