The next big PlayStation 5 exclusive has arrived with Stellar Blade and it has not disappointed - and now, on launch day, the action RPG has just got even better.
The PlayStation 5 exclusive Stellar Blade is the first game from the North Korean studio Shift Up for Sony, and has been met with positive reviews across the board. It stars a protagonist named Eve who is sent to save planet Earth from an alien invasion. So, no pressure then.

In my review of Stellar Blade, I said: “Aside from all of the potentially-polarising outfits, this is an epic action adventure from start to finish that kept me engaged and wanting to come back for more. It doesn't do a great deal to reinvent the wheel but it doesn't need to. This gorgeous and fun game knows exactly what it is."

However, Stellar Blade was met with some instant controversy as some in-game artwork found in various places of its world could be deemed as racist, albeit, to give the benefit of the doubt, unintentionally. Thankfully, that very questionable artwork was quickly patched out of the game.
That being said, a new update has just gone live for Stellar Blade and it’s far more positive news as it brings a New Game Plus, 34 new outfits for Eve and her crew as well as fixing any previously unforeseen bugs. The free New Game Plus and outfits update is available to download right now.
What’s more, as with the nature of most New Game Plus modes, it means that you’ll be able to carry over all upgraded abilities (including exclusive NG+ skills), outfits, currency and more into the next Stellar Blade playthrough. As for the outfits, the new skins extend to Eve’s companions, Adam and Lily, as well as the Drone.
