While we wait for some of this week’s biggest game releases like 007 First Light and Mina the Hollower, the PlayStation Store has added a few game demos for you to check out.
Following the demo release for The Adventures of Eliot: The Millennium Tales, three new free demos have been added to the store for PS5 players to check out.
The selection includes a recently-released cyberpunk racing game, a side-scrolling action brawler, and a rhythm-driven metroidvania.
Let’s dive into the new demos that have hit the PlayStation Store in the last week.

In SURI: The Seventh Note, you play as Ajira, a young girl whose journey into the heart of a musical island goes wrong. Her goal: to find a rare fruit that holds the power to save her mother.
However, it soon becomes a battle to restore the balance of rhythm itself. Every platform, enemy, and escape sequence moves with the music. You’ll need to listen closely, feel the pulse, and use the beat to guide you towards the end.
The full version of SURI: The Seventh Note doesn’t have a release date yet.

Gurei stars Rei, a human spirit bound whose duty it is to defeat mystical entities of nature, the Kami, to acquire their power.
Gurei lets you pick the fights against the Kami in any order, with a dynamic difficulty system adjusting enemy strength depending on the path you take. It essentially means that one Kami fought at the very beginning could also be the final boss in a different route.
The full version of Gurei is out on 23 July, 2026.

A spiritual successor to the Ridge Racer series, as well as injecting bits of Cyberpunk 2077 into it, Screamer is a racing game with anime visuals where you compete in the titular Screamer tournament to win fame and glory.
A traditional arcade racer, with power-ups, boosts, and weapons, the game features dozens of tracks and plenty of vehicles to drive around in, with a visual novel-style storytelling in between each race to keep the narrative moving.
The full version of Screamer is out now.

Meanwhile, other demos that have released on the PlayStation Store recently include one for the upcoming Square Enix RPG The Adventures of Eliot: The Millennium Tales, the Mirror’s Edge-esque platformer Motorslice, and the Lovecraftian puzzle game Call of the Elder Gods.
