PlayStation Plus Announces Latest Wave Of Free Games For May 2026

Sony has announced the next free games coming for all PlayStation Plus subscribers in May 2026.

As is typically the case at the end of each month, the next batch of games coming to PlayStation Plus Essential have now been revealed.

This new wave of games will be available from Tuesday next week.

Let's dive into the new games available on PlayStation Plus Essential for May 2026.

EA Sports FC 26

Electronic Arts

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

Nine Sols

"Nine Sols is a lore rich, hand-drawn 2D action-platformer featuring Sekiro-inspired deflection focused combat. Embark on a journey of eastern fantasy, explore the land once home to an ancient alien race, and follow a vengeful hero’s quest to slay the 9 Sols, formidable rulers of this forsaken realm."

Red Candle Games

Quite a mix here. Obviously, EA Sports FC 26 will appeal to the sports game fans who use PlayStation Plus to play. Meanwhile, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers and Nine Sols are perfect for those who enjoy action-adventure titles, with both offering challenging gameplay and expansive narratives to enjoy.

These games replace the three titles which were available on PlayStation Plus Essential in April, which were Lords of the Fallen, Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream, and Tomb Raider I-III Remastered.

Because of the staggered month, the games became available on 7 April, but will still be available to pick up until Monday, 4 May.
