PlayStation Plus users have urged fellow subscribers not to skip the latest free action RPG, earning a solid 10/10 seal of approval.
Sometimes, we have so much to choose from with what’s offered with PlayStation Plus that it can feel a little overwhelming. The term “spoiled for choice” comes to mind.
Each month, Sony announces the next batch of games coming to the three tiers of its subscription service, PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra and Premium.
In early April, PS Plus subscribers got three more games to add to their Essential library. Well, perhaps five games, when you consider one offering is a trilogy collection.

Then, later in the month, we learned what games are coming to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium, and one of those games is the topic of this article. The game in question is 2024’s Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered for PlayStation 5.
“A 10/10 graphics for me,” declared Redditor Justasking027. “I’m really glad this game made its way to PS Plus. I was impressed the first time I played it on my PS4 Slim, and even today the Decima engine continues to amaze me.”
“The level of graphical fidelity here is absolutely stunning; I can barely notice any difference between performance and fidelity modes. The visuals are simply flawless, the image quality is sharp and perfect.”

“I've been playing it for the first time. Never played it before the remaster. My God, this game is gorgeous. It's so dang good so far as well. I love combat,” replied SingleDadSurviving.
“Incredibly, this level of graphical fidelity is possible on a console while running at 60 frames-per-second, and an open world game at that,” said Aforumguy26.
“I played the PS4 version first, and later, when Remastered was announced, I upgraded it,” explained neroyoung. “It was more like a remake in my perspective because they redid a lot of things, including animation and dynamic cutscenes. It looks pleasing on the OLED due to the popping colour and contrast.”
“Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered offers a reminder of why this franchise is here to stay, as if we needed one,” said GAMINGbible’s Kate, in her review.
“Guerrilla Games’ storytelling and world-building are industry-leading, and with the help of Nixxes, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered imbues itself with the lessons learnt from the development of the original game’s successor, Forbidden West.”
Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered is available on PC and PlayStation 5.
