PlayStation Plus New Free Game is a 9/10 You Shouldn't Miss

Everything is awesome!

A new inclusion to the PlayStation Plus library has been labelled “funny” and “9/10”, with it finally worth your time given the cost involved - or lack of.

Sony’s PlayStation Plus subscription service is packed full of games that we can play at the drop of a hat. From first-party titles, major third-party big hitters, indie darlings and some good old, retro classics.

Regardless of the tier that you pay for, whether it’s PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra or Premium, you should never be short of anything to play, and that’s not taking into account the free DLC, discounts and more.

In November 2025, Sony announced its latest inclusions in the PlayStation Plus Essential tier (also included in Extra and Premium). Typically, we’d get three games with PS Plus Essential, but as a welcome early Christmas gift, we were treated to four games instead.

Those four games included with PlayStation Plus Essential for December 2026 are: Killing Floor 3, Neon White, Synduality Echo of Ada, The Outlast Trials, and the topic of today’s discussion, LEGO Horizon Adventures.

LEGO Horizon Adventures is Short But Sweet

LEGO Horizon Adventures gets so much right, and Guerrilla Games and Studio Gobo have created a truly wonderful experience that I’m sure will be enjoyed by fans both old and new … if they can justify that price tag,” said GAMINGbible’s Kate in her review.

So, what is the issue with the LEGO Horizon Adventures price tag, I hear you ask? The problem was that at launch, it had an RRP of £59.99, and for a game that can take anywhere between seven to 11 hours to complete (depending on how you approach the game), that could be considered a bit of a steep price.

Thankfully, however, since that time, LEGO Horizon Adventures has dropped to an RRP of £34.99, which feels much more reasonable, and now that it’s included in PlayStation Plus, that’s even better.

With that in mind, fans have reacted with LEGO Horizon Adventures being a headline PlayStation Plus game this month.

“As a Horizon games fan, I really love LEGO Horizon Adventures on PS Plus,” wrote Redditor Delicious_Maize9656. “The graphics are the best I’ve seen in any LEGO game I’ve played. The story and dialogue are really funny; I laughed out loud many times. 9/10.”

“I had fun with it playing over the weekend. I thought I would play it for an hour, honestly, and stop, but the humour and the graphics and everything were really good,” replied RayDeezNutz.

“Hard agree. Fun for grown-ups and kids,” said OkInterview3864.

“LEGO games are low-key underrated. People see them and assume they are for kids only, but some of their games are actually good time wasters,” exclaimed BlaziingDemon.

LEGO Horizon Adventures is out now on PC, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.
