Sony has always been good at offering PlayStation Plus subscribers incentives to stick with the programme, from the solid monthly games we have enjoyed in 2025 to extra cosmetic treats along the way.
Depending on what tier of the service you go for, there are a ton of benefits to subscribing to PlayStation Plus if the PS5 is your main console, and some of them you might not even be aware of.
Premium subscribers have access to a ton of free trials for some of the biggest games around, including many people's Game of the Year in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
There are also movie credits for the Sony Pictures Catalogue at the Essential, Extra and Premium tiers, with more available if you grab a 12-month subscription, which means you can easily sort those Christmas movie nights.

Now, PlayStation Plus subscribers can grab another gift at no extra cost, and it's one that iPhone owners or music fans will want to be aware of.
PlayStation Plus Subscribers Can Claim Three Free Months of Apple Music

Over on Reddit, one user shared a post confirming that they had been offered three free months of Apple Music, along with the steps needed to claim it for yourself, saying:
"Playstation Plus - Free 3 months of Apple Music. What you need:
- An account for PlayStation® Network
- An Apple Account
How to redeem your offer:
1.Find the Apple Music app from your PS5 console’s search bar, or find it under “All apps” in Media home.
2.Download and open the Apple Music app and follow the on-screen instructions.
3.Sign in with your Apple Account or create an Apple Account if you don’t already have one.
4.Enjoy up to three months of Apple Music at no extra cost."
It's worth noting that the comments in response are reporting that, whilst the offer is there for them, it's actually for a very low cost version of Apple Music, rather than entirely free.
That will be down to Sony's genuinely infuriating dynamic pricing system, that sweetens the deal based on how unlikely they think it is for you to take them up on their offer.
Either way though, this is a deal that's well worth picking up if you use an iPhone or a Mac with any regularity, as the built-in music service is a solid one, even if it does fail to reach the heady heights of Spotify.
