PlayStation users can finally begin pre-ordering some swanky new hardware. It’s on the store right now.

Over the past few months, PlayStation has been releasing some incredible hardware refinements, from the 30th anniversary bundle to new controllers, some of which are themed after first-party titles.

None are more striking than the Midnight Black Collection though.

This latest gorgeous range of tech features the PlayStation hardware you know and love but with a smooth Midnight Black finish, which matches the console of the same style if you have one of those.

The range includes a DualSense Edge, which is Sony’s attempt at producing a pro controller for the most serious of gamers, and we have to say the Midnight Black effect suits it beautifully.

Next up are two items perfect for hearing every minor detail in your games, the PlayStation Pulse Explore Wireless Earbuds and the Pulse Elite.

Both are fine options for those wanting to play their games with great audio detail, but be wanted as many wouldn’t recommend the Pulse Elite due to a fault that can develop on the arms of the headset.

Finally, there’s a new PlayStation Portal, the handheld device that lets you stream from your PlayStation console to anywhere in the house. Not the most useful piece of kit we fear but if you want to play in rooms other than the one your console is in, this is how you do it.

PlayStation’s official description for the Midnight Black range says it features a “unique, rich shade of black, with sleek detailing on various buttons and accents such as the PlayStation logo”.

If you don’t have many PlayStation accessories or are looking to upgrade or add to your collection, the Midnight Black range seems like it’ll be your cup of tea, and pre-orders are live now.
