This 2018 PlayStation title is about to be delisted from the PlayStation Store entirely, which has got PlayStation Plus subscribers worried that they won’t be able to access the game from November 10 onwards.
PlayStation Plus digital ownership is a bit of an odd grey area. Where PlayStation Plus Essential titles are concerned, games are seemingly yours to use until your subscription runs out, but users have complained several times in the past of games disappearing from their libraries if claimed in other ways afterwards.
However, PlayStation Plus Extra is a lot more straightforward. While you have a PS Plus Extra or Premium subscription, obviously, you can play the games in the Extra catalogue… but what happens when a PS Plus Extra title is set to be delisted?
It’s a good question, and I personally don’t know the answer to it. Assumedly, once the game is removed from storefronts, it will no longer boot up (even if you installed via PS Plus via to it being delisted).

That’s why folks over on the r/PlayStationPlus subreddit are worried about the announcement that Surviving Mars, the 2018 PlayStation 4 city-builder developed by Haemimont Games, will be replaced by a new version, titled Surviving Mars: Relaunched, on November 10.

Surviving Mars has been a mainstay on the PlayStation Plus Extra catalogue for a while now, but, should you have somehow not managed to get around to it by now, the next couple of weeks might be your last chance to try it for free.
Although publishers Paradox Interactive have stated that the “original copy of Surviving Mars will remain in your library” following the November 10 delisting, there isn’t any specific info on the official website regarding its potential removal from PlayStation Plus.

Best case scenario, Surviving Mars is replaced by Surviving Mars: Relaunched on the PlayStation Plus Extra catalogue once the former version is delisted, giving you access to all of the previously released DLC as a nice bonus.
Worst case scenario, it disappears entirely, and the version of Surviving Mars that you’ve installed via PS Plus will no longer function from November 10 onwards.
Hopefully it’s the former case, but considering that there’s been no official word from either Sony or Paradox Interactive regarding the PS Plus version… I’d expect the worst.
Still, two weeks is plenty of time to figure out if you want to buy the game for full price after it disappears anyway, so I’d recommend giving it a go while you definitely still can.
