PlayStation Plus November Free Games Lineup Already Has Gamers Concerned

Some great games are possibly up for the chop

As per usual, PlayStation Plus subscribers have taken to guessing what games might be leaving the service in November.

You may have turned your nose up at the word “guessing”, but here me out.

Every month, PlayStation Plus users examine titles that have been available for certain periods of time.

Those periods of time are typically six months, one year, and two years.

Why? Well, if it’s a third party title, Sony will only have a license to include the game for so long and licensing periods typically last for those lengths of time listed above.

As such, any games that have been on the service that long are most definitely in the danger zone of potentially being titles that could depart in the next exodus of games, so these estimations are actually well worth looking at.

Typically, this work is done via Reddit but this time around, YouTuber OliveOcelot has carried out quite an extensive analysis.

Let’s begin with titles that joined PlayStation Plus six months ago.

We have Sand Land, Soul Hackers 2, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted - Full Time Edition, Battlefield V, S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Legends of the Zone Trilogy, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, Humankind, Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, Gloomhaven Mercenaries Edition, and Battle Engine Aquila.

Overcooked: All You Can Eat! has now been on PlayStation Plus for 12 months, as has Chivalry II, Like a Dragon: Ishin, Killer Frequency, and Stick Fight: The Game.

That’s just a small selection that OliveOcelot has gathered; plenty more titles will be up for the chop.

And I should stress that not necessarily all of these games will depart. It’s simply that they’re at risk of leaving.

And whenever there’s a game in the danger zone I’ve been meaning to play, I get onto it ASAP, and I suggest you do the same thing.

There are plenty of games subscribers don’t want to see depart.

“If Killer Frequency leaves, it’ll give me an excuse to replay it! (As if Halloween wasn’t enough of an excuse!),” wrote Reddit user Specific_Rest_3140, responding to the video.

“As long as God of War Ragnarok doesn't leave, I'll be fine! I'm working on finishing 2018, then transitioning to finishing Ragnarok. Maybe if something good leaves, I'll play it!” added Flottrooster.

We typically find out which games are leaving when the new extra tier additions arrive for the month before.

Well, the October batch should land on 21 October so the November departures will likely be revealed then.
