PlayStation Plus free games are being praised by subscribers, which are all set to leave in October 2025.

PlayStation Plus offers tons of games that you can play, as well as bonuses such as discounts, free DLC, trials, cloud gaming and more. The amount of perks you’ll receive will, of course, depend on which of the three tiers you subscribe to.

For example, if you subscribe to the top tier, PlayStation Plus Premium, you’ll not only get all of the above and more, but also a lot more games that the two lesser tiers have to offer. Regardless, each tier offers good value nonetheless.

However, there is one major caveat for those who subscribe to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium. Despite having a lot more games to offer than PS Plus Essential, many games will leave on a rotational basis to make way for fresh additions.

With that in mind, at least four games are set to leave PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium next month. Those games are: Battlefield 1, Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed Ecto Edition, Tour de France 2025 and The Last Clock Winder.

A screenshot of the games leaving PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium via the PS Store was shared on Reddit by LaFriteFrancaise.

No date was shown for when the games will be leaving, but that date will likely be 7 October 2025, the first Tuesday of the month, when new PlayStation Plus games tend to drop.

“Dang if that really stays just those four, that is a nice month of losses (or lack thereof!). I didn't have any of them on my radar. Does anybody here recommend any of them before they go?” asked Willing-Command4231.

“Battlefield 1 is a great Battlefield game. I loved the operations campaigns,” replied Dosagu.

“No losses here, so I can continue with my backlog,” declared 00-Monkey.

“Wow. It’s actually a month where I can chill and play whatever I want,” said BlackkSlayerr.

“Looks like there's nothing I have to worry about missing out on. I tried the Ghostbusters game for a little while,” explained Sorry-Engineer8854.

“Sorry to be a downer, but I have a feeling they will add more games to the list,” exclaimed 10pencefredo. “Very happy to be proven wrong, of course.”

Hopefully, these are the only games leaving PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium next month, but I have a feeling that 10pencefredo has hit the nail on the head.

As always, we’ll keep you posted when information on the new additions for PlayStation Plus in October 2025 drops.
