PlayStation Plus to lose 12 incredible free games, last chance to play

PlayStation Plus to lose 12 incredible free games, last chance to play

This is your last chance to play these games

The PlayStation Plus service brings us new games to play every month, but the games can’t stick around forever and eventually must be removed from the subscription service for one reason or another.

This month, 12 games will be leaving the service, so if you’re playing any of these right now, or you’ve been holding off, now is your time to get them downloaded and finish them.

GTAV will be leaving PlayStation Plus soon but you still have Red Dead Redemption 2 to play.

Headlining the games leaving soon is GTA V, the massive action game from Rockstar Games, which likely leaves as it’s replaced by Red Dead Redemption 2. If you want one last crime spree, get on this now.

Other games leaving are three racing titles in MotoGP23, Baja: Edge of Control HD, and Monster Jam: Steel Titans. And everyone’s favourite sponge will be departing in the near future as SpongeBob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated is in its final stretch.

It’s always a shame to see certain titles leave PlayStation Plus, especially smaller indie darlings that have a larger audience thanks to the vast user base. Games like Dodgeball Academia and The Wild at Heart will be removed soon, but both are relatively short and bags of fun, so I can recommend you download these today to experience them now.

Indivisible is another fabulous indie game with a lot of charm and some truly gorgeous visuals, too.

Finally, we have The Talos Principle, Unturned, DC League of Superpets, and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. This makes up the 12 games that will disappear. While there’s no date given for their departure, it will happen over the next few weeks.

These will, of course, be replaced by other games for June. What they will be is anyone’s guess, but there’s sure to be a gem or two coming soon.
