PlayStation Plus has become an increasingly attractive offering in recent years, as Sony sweetens the pot to keep up with other exciting subscription services like Game Pass and Nintendo Switch Online.
The monthly games have been a real point of strength for the company, as the back half of this year allowed players to get their hands on some pretty impressive games at no additional cost beyond the monthly price.
Equally, the wider game catalogue that players can draw upon at any time continues to expand, and there is plenty to jump into, regardless of which genre you usually favour.
That selection includes one perpetually underrated game that both Extra and Premium subscribers should definitely consider taking a look at before it inevitably goes away at some point in the future.
Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sand is a Solid Action RPG

Advert
As mentioned earlier, Extra and Premium tier PS Plus subscribers can log in and play Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sand right now, with the action RPG likely one of the most underrated games in the entire catalogue.
Reign of Sand is actually an ultimate edition (of sorts) for Atlas Fallen. In the developers own words, "In solo or co-op, experience Reign of Sand, the ultimate version of Atlas Fallen. Ride the sands of a timeless land and defeat legendary monsters in spectacular Action-RPG combat using devastating powers. Master the sand to manifest devastating weapons and harvest the essence of your enemies to customise your own play style. Open a new era for humanity in a narrative campaign playable solo or in cooperation with a friend. Break your chains. Unleash the storm!"
It's certainly high octane fun, and fans online have been quick to praise it, particularly over on Reddit, where many are asking if it's worth jumping into, given its position in the PS Plus catalogue.
"Playing co-op with a friend at the moment. It's not the best game I've ever played, but it's still loads of fun and we're not looking forward to it ending. If there's similar co-op games around I'd like to know," one comment said.
"I really, really enjoyed it. Combat is bad/lame at the beginning, but once you get the gist of it, and unlock the correct powers and find your style, it becomes fun. Story is great and the graphic, as you said, is sometimes stunning. Highly recommended," another added.
With so little risk involved to giving it a try (if you're already subscribed) we'd say this one is well worth a go next time you have a few hours free.
