PlayStation Plus gives you access to so many games, especially when subscribed to the higher tiers, that it's difficult to settle on something to play.

Whether you like RPGs, simulators, first-person shooters, or even retro games – there's plenty to enjoy.

PlayStation itself also doesn't do a great job of recommending things, leaving some games to only gain popularity by word of mouth.

Over on the PlayStation Plus Reddit page, users are now recommending for others to check out Arcade Paradise, a management game that was added to the service a few weeks ago.

"Don’t sleep on Arcade Paradise," the post reads. "Genuinely a really fun game. It’s a game where you slowly build up your own arcade by slogging away in a laundromat.

"However, the repetitive tasks have a way of feeling satisfying and fresh. You can play every arcade cabinet that you purchase too and have a ton of things to do with regards to tasks and milestones."

Developed by Nosebleed Interactive and published by Wired Productions, Arcade Paradise was originally released back in 2022. Since then, it has had a VR port as well as multiple DLC packs release.

We reviewed it back when it first released, calling it "excellent".

"I'm on the back end of it and I'm enjoying it," one comment underneath the post wrote.

"You're right - it's one of those cozy games that is both mindless and soothing. At first it's a bit of a slog, and if you're like me, be prepared for the wife/family to say, 'You're doing laundry in a videogame?'"

"Really enjoyed this one," another wrote. "Powerwash Simulator vibes in terms of putting on a podcast and relaxing."

If you're after a game to switch your brain off to, it sounds like Arcade Paradise might be the one for you.

It is included in a subscription to PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium, but you can also buy it for £15.99 if you'd rather outright own the game.

In addition to PlayStation 4 and 5, Arcade Paradise is also available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
