PlayStation Plus users can now pick up a free DLC for Battlefield 6 for PS5, but a workaround for Xbox and PC also exists.
PlayStation Plus is a great service for when you want to pick up a bunch of free games, but you may not be aware that some games give away free DLC as part of the subscription.
This extra bit of content is often related to games with online functionality, thus encouraging you to make the most out of your subscription which allows you to access online multiplayer.
The latest free DLC to hit PlayStation Plus is the Search and Destroy Pack for Battlefield 6, giving you access to a bunch of free cosmetics to use in your loadouts.

“Arm yourself as you pursue PAX Warlords across continents with the Search and Destroy Pack,” reads the DLC’s description, listing the following items as included with the pack:

While all PlayStation Plus users are able to pick this up for free using their subscription, there also exists a way to get it if you play Battlefield 6 on Xbox or PC.
As outlined by MP1st, if you’d like to get the Search and Destroy Pack for Battlefield 6 on Xbox or PC, you’ll need a PS5 and an active PlayStation Plus subscription.
If this applies to you, go onto the PlayStation Store and download Battlefield RedSec for free. It’s the battle royale portion of the game which all players can access for free, regardless of whether they own Battlefield 6 or not.
Once you’ve done this, redeem the Search and Destroy Pack from PlayStation Plus and it’ll be added to your account. Go into Battlefield RedSec and add the DLC to your account, and it will be added to your in-game inventory.
The kicker is that since Battlefield 6 and Battlefield RedSec have a shared inventory, plus full cross-platform progression, the bundle will be added to your Battlefield 6 items at no extra cost, and will also appear if you’re playing on Xbox or PC.
That’s assuming you also use the same EA account for the game as you do on PlayStation 5, of course.
