Christmas is only a couple of weeks away, and while many of us frantically try to buy gifts after delaying the inevitable (please say it isn’t just me), there are ways to experience Christmas early, especially if you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber.

Oh yes, you don’t need to wait for good ol’ Saint Nick for the festivities to begin, with a new PS Plus Fortnite celebration pack available to all who worship at the altar of Fortnite and the PS. Sucks to be you right now if you don’t.

Have you played Fortnite 'Chapter 5' yet?

Seeing as how Fortnite is currently experiencing a bigger influx of interest than normal (and it’s usually a lot) thanks to LEGO, now feels like the perfect time to embrace the heady, fast-paced nature of the battle royale.

With LEGO Fortnite being hailed as one of the best LEGO games ever, and with more recent news that LEGO Fortnite is here to stay, the Celebration Pack feels like the cherry on top of a very tasty cake.

We know that it’s a bold move for Epic Games to launch the exclusive pack on the day the God of War: Ragnarök DLC goes live, but it’s those bold moves that help Epic get 100 million players in Fortnite; clearly, the publisher knows what it’s doing. But why can’t you do both?

You don’t have to be playing Fortnite right this second to get the latest pack, you just need to be a PS Plus user and head to the PS Plus menu to claim your prize. It’s ridiculously simple. And, if you’re not already a PS Plus member, you can start a free seven-day trial so you can get that pack.

Go on, treat yourself, it’s nearly Christmas and you deserve a freebie to reward all that hard work you’ve put into not buying presents in a mad dash before Christmas Eve!
