You can play one of the best games of the last decade at no extra cost if you subscribe to PlayStation Plus Premium.
Other than having a ton more games to choose from, including PlayStation classics such as the original Resident Evil trilogy, one of the better perks of the PS Plus Premium tier is being able to trial select games.
Unlike a free playable demo, usually with trials, not only will your save data carry over into the full game, should you decide to make a purchase, but you’ll also keep trophies and achievements that you’ve earned.
PlayStation Plus trials can vary from 45 minutes or five hours, like Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, which was announced alongside 11 new PS Plus Premium additions.

One other trial that is currently available with the PlayStation Plus Premium tier is the critically acclaimed fantasy RPG of 2023, Baldur’s Gate 3.
The Baldur’s Gate 3 trial lasts for two hours, which is a mere snippet of the game that could easily take 200 hours to complete your first run before you begin anew.
“Baldur’s Gate 3 is a story-rich, party-based RPG set in the universe of Dungeons & Dragons, where your choices shape a tale of fellowship and betrayal, survival and sacrifice, and the lure of absolute power,” reads the description of the game.
Developed and published by Larian Studios, it’s fair to say that when Baldur’s Gate 3 was released, it had taken the video game industry by storm and achieved a 96 Metacritic score, earning the “Must-Play” accolade.

In our review, GAMINGbible’s Ewan said: “Baldur’s Gate 3 is unlike anything I’ve ever seen,” adding, “I’m not sure we’ll ever see anything quite like it again.”
So, if for whatever reason, you’ve not experienced what all the fuss is about and you subscribe to PlayStation Plus Premium, we wholeheartedly recommend checking out Baldur’s Gate 3 ASAP.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is out now on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
