PlayStation Plus Gamers Sat on 180 Freebies They Definitely Missed

Secret freebies are the best kind of freebies

PlayStation Plus is a pretty attractive offering to those of us who have Sony's flagship console, but there are often a ton of benefits that the company doesn't make immediately clear to its waiting audience.

Whether it's free cosmetics for your profile or the chance to play otherwise very expensive games for free, it's worth scrubbing around in the darker corners of the service to see if you're missing out on anything.

To make life a little easier, we're here to tell you about 180 trial games that are available if you subscribe to PlayStation Plus. These include some major AAA titles that cost a pretty penny in the regular store, so you can work out whether you like them before committing.

The standout title on the list probably goes to Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Warhorse Studios' medieval epic whose focus on narrative elevates it to the level of a Ridley Scott classic (not one of his newer films) that you have to play through.

The other absolutely premium title, and one of the best games of the last decade, is Baldur's Gate 3. It'll likely need no introduction to many, but Larian Studios' project is simply the greatest D&D video game of all time, and one of the most spectacular branching stories anywhere.

Other solid picks for those who are into story include Alan Wake 2, Life is Strange: Double Exposure and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, all of which were potential game of the year contenders when they first dropped, and offer great value in a trial version before you commit to the full purchase.

There are also a ton of indie and lesser known titles that come to the fore here, so have a scout around and you just might find that your next favourite game is hiding in plain sight.
