If you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber, chances are the reason for that is so you can check out the regular rotation of free games the service has to offer.

Every month, all PlayStation Plus subscribers get a small handful of games to play at no extra cost, provided they keep their subscription active while they play the game.

It looks like the latest title to hit PlayStation Plus is sure to take over all of your free time, as we estimate it’ll take you well over a hundred hours to do everything in the game.

As announced earlier this week, wannabe farmers may want to set their alarms for 2nd September, as Stardew Valley will be available as part of PlayStation Plus Essential for September 2025.

Throughout the month, the game will be available to claim and add to your PlayStation account, meaning you can play it for as long as you’re a PS Plus subscriber.

However, this offer will only be available until the end of the month, at which point it’ll be rotated out for a different game. So if you’re interested in checking out Stardew Valley, be sure to add it to your library by the end of September.

And when we say this game will take up all your free time, we mean it. Stardew Valley has hundreds of hours of content, and it’s pretty difficult to put down.

Even if you’re solely focused on just completing everything as efficiently as possible, How Long To Beat reckons you’re looking at 167 hours of play. And with a new update officially confirmed to be on the way, it sounds like that number might even change in the future.

In addition to Stardew Valley, subscribers can also grab Viewfinder and Psychonauts 2 during September.

Viewfinder’s completionist time sits at 6 hours, while Psychonauts 2’s is around 26 hours. So, these aren’t as massive time investments as Stardew Valley.
