With Kojima’s next PlayStation-exclusive game set to be a PlayStation 6 title, fans are eager to learn what they can expect from the creator’s genius mind.
Titled Physint, Kojima has previously revealed that this game will be for the “next-generation” and as a result, it is still around 5-6 years away from release so we can safely assume that it will arrive on the PlayStation 6.
As for the game itself, in typical Kojima fashion, it remains pretty mysterious.
Physint is described as an “action-espionage” game and will be made using “cutting-edge technology and the best talents from around the world, both from film and video games”.

When the game was first revealed back in 2024, Kojima shared that the game would be interactive but “the look, story, theme, cast, acting, fashion, sound, etc are all at the next level of digital entertainment that [it] could be called a movie”.
Now it seems as though we will be seeing Physint a lot sooner than we first thought as Kojima’s studio is set to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
Kicking off on 23 September in Tokyo, “Beyond the Strand” will be centered all around the studio and its previous titles such as Death Stranding but will also take the time to shine the light on some future releases like Xbox horror game OD and PlayStation-exclusive Physint.
The event will offer a “glimpse into future projects” so we can expect a lot more information regarding Physint.

"KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS today announced Beyond The Strand, a celebration of 10 years of KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS,” the announcement reads.
“Hosted by Hideo Kojima, the celebratory event will include special guest appearances as well as offer a glimpse into future projects.”
Although the PlayStation 6 has not yet been revealed by Sony, and so a release date is out of the question, we can safely assume that it is on the way and it seems as though Physint will be one of the first titles launching alongside it.
Now we just have to wait to see what Kojima’s brilliant mind has conjured up this time.
