Those interested in purchasing the new PlayStation 5 Slim are in luck because right now it's on sale, with a free game thrown in for good measure. As if a hefty discount wasn't already satisfying enough!
It's not often you see a price drop attached to the PlayStation 5, especially the newer models of the "latter stage" console (we still aren't over that news). Consequently, now is the time to bite the bullet and get that new console you've been thinking about.

Best Buy is where you can find the discounted console, with a total of $50 off its standard price. We know that isn't the biggest discount you've ever seen – it certainly isn't for us – but it's rare that we get discounts for the PS5 so we're taking the win. That's why we're saying this discount is so "hefty".
With the first games for next-gen console already teased, it might seem silly to some to invest in a current-gen device. However, while the speculation is that next-gen is coming fast, whether it actually adheres to that timeline still remains to be seen.
Alongside the price cut, you'll also receive a digital copy of Marvel's Spider-Man 2, a game we're still not over despite it not winning a single award at The Game Awards 2023. It was definitely a GOTY contender, and now it's a game you get to play without paying through the nose for it.
If that doesn't have you convinced, how about the fact that thise price drop comes in case for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth's launch? Now that's got to have piqued your interest if Spider-Man didn't. The remake is a 10/10 "triumphant evolution" as far as we're concerned, though we're sure you'll agree once you've played it too.
Unfortunately, not everyone can easily get a hold of the discounted PS5 Slim because it's only available to Candian and US customers. We're sorry. Still, for those able to enjoy the potential savings, you'd better get moving because this deal won't stick around forever.
