Seeing as the weather isn’t willing to offer respite from the rain, we need something to keep us entertained while we’re trapped indoors.

Arguably, your PlayStation 5 already entertains, but let us just say that this surprise freebie increases its entertainment value significantly.

If you’re a cinephile, this time limited deal is a must.

This isn’t the first time Sony has dropped an Apple related extra, but that doesn’t diminish the deal you’re getting.

All new users will be eligible for this; all they need to do is create their PSN account, as well as an Apple ID, and they’ll be good to go.

For a chilling horror experience, you need to play Still Wakes The Deep

For the returning users who’ve taken advantage of this free offer before, you’re apparently able to redeem three months of free Apple TV, also.

As per Sony’s words, “qualified returning Apple TV+ subscribers” can bag themselves this bargain. However, what “qualified” actually means is never clarified...

If you’re willing to take the risk that you might not fall into that category, these three months of Apple TV are only available for PS5 and PS4 owners.

By all means, enjoy this freebie, but do make sure to toggle off “auto renewal” lest you get stung with a full price subscription once the three-month trial ends.

The full details of the offer can be found here.

For those of you who would rather game the rainy days away, there’s a chance to reap rewards from that pastime as well.

Until 31 July, you can claim free store credit. Those points can then be used to purchase other games and/or collectibles, or you can hoard the credit like Smaug.

Whichever freebie you choose, you need to act fast to enjoy it otherwise you’re going to miss out. Users looking to get free Apple TV need to claim the subscription before 22 September.
