Marvel's Spider-Man 2 free download up for grabs right now

First released back in 2023, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 went on to become PlayStation’s fastest selling first-party title but if you missed out, the epic action-adventure title is now free to sample for a limited time, with a valid PlayStation Plus subscription.

Released as the highly-anticipated sequel to 2018’s Marvel’s Spider-Man and 2020’s Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was met with critical success both when it was a PlayStation 5 exclusive title and later when it was ported to PC.

Following the escapades of both Peter Parker and Miles Morales, Insomniac Games’ latest instalment saw the boys fight some iconic villains such as Sandman, Venom, Kraven and more.

When it comes to a potential third instalment, Insomniac Games is keeping tight-lipped but just in case an announcement is just around the corner, this would be the perfect time to take advantage of a free download.

Courtesy of PlayStation Plus Premium, subscribers can now download Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for free for a limited time.

This will give them access to the title for two hours and this will be more than enough time to get a feel for the game and see if you want to take the plunge and purchase the full title.

The trial will include the first major boss battle as well as giving you the opportunity to explore the extensive open-world.

Not only that but you will also get to experience a brand-new feature in the Marvel’s Spider-Man series: the web-wings which will allow your Spider-Man to glide around New York and navigate the urban terrain a whole lot quicker and easier.
