Despite being a 2013 game, GTA V can look just as good, if not better, than a new-gen game on PC.
This is, of course, achievable through mods, and the results speak for themselves as some gameplay can look like it’s been pulled out of the GTA VI trailers.
Speaking of GTA VI trailers, have you seen the latest one?
If you want specifics, look no further than the 'GTA V NaturalVision' mod, which basically did Rockstar Games’ job for it and made the PC version of the game look how it’s supposed to.

Rockstar did previously release an update for the PC version of the game that gave it the same graphical upgrades the console versions received with the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 versions of the game, but it resulted in a lot of bugs and graphical glitches.
NaturalVision fixes all of that and adds a heap of improvements to the game, including but not limited to improved lighting, higher resolution textures, better shadows, and much more. It’s also free.
Speaking on the mod, its creator Razed said, "I'm very happy with the progress so far and think it's the most refined and immersive version of NaturalVision we've ever created … it's all about creating an illusion of a living, breathing world that pulls you in.”
It could genuinely give GTA VI a run for its money, so if you haven’t taken a look yet, you know what to do.

Speaking of GTA VI, the game isn’t coming out this year as many had hoped but that isn’t the end of the world.
The first two trailers made it clear this is going to be the most advanced Grand Theft Auto title there’s ever been, so if Rockstar Games needs an extra year to make it perfect, there’s no argument for why it shouldn’t be allowed to cook.
