God Of War Ragnarök Free Download Available For Limited Time

It's not a lot, but it's something

Are you a God of War fan? Do you want to proclaim your love for the franchise for all the world to see?

Well, if you answered yes to both of those questions then you are in the right place, my friend.

Amidst the ongoing celebration of its 15th anniversary, PlayStation Plus has dropped a new set of free PSN avatars reflecting several beloved games, both first and third party.

There are five avatars included in the pack in total including, you guessed it, a God of War Ragnarök themed one allowing you to demonstrate your love of Kratos and Atreus.

In the avatar, Kratos and Atreus are both depicted in a cartoon aesthetic, in battle ready stances overlaid across a PlayStation Plus logo.

Redeeming the code will also gain you the Cyberpunk 2077, Hogwarts Legacy, Twisted Metal, and Diablo IV avatars featuring female V, a cloaked witch or wizard, Sweet Tooth, and Lilith respectively.

To nab these, simply enter whichever of the following codes correlates to your region on the PlayStation Store.

  • The Americas: JGE9-RHJ3-3DLC
  • Europe and Australia: PEDN-MARA-T2M9
  • Asia: HRK4-G9LC-LHLC
  • Japan: 4E9K-GTKL-5476

You must do this before 9 October 2025 as the code will then expire so if you are a fan, it might be cool to own these limited-edition avatars.

The avatars have, I’m unsurprised to see, garnered a mixed response.

“This is actually pretty cool,” wrote Twitter/X user playonshaga.

“Yeah ngl, those are ugly,” countered wowMatey.

“God of War avatar is beautiful,” added Kamal1442, while average_atomic said, “The Twisted Metal one is dope. Seems Sony is showing the series a little bit more attention recently.”

Each to their own, as they say.

They also say that you should never look a gift horse in the mouth, so you may as well redeem the code.
