It’s a big year for God Of War fans, as 2024 has seen the return of Kratos in two ways, the first being the Secret Level anthology series and the second being this new release.

God Of War Ragnarök launched in 2022 and was a contender for the Game Of The Year award, and followed up with an awesome (and free) DLC expansion in 2023.

Take a look at God Of War Ragnarök: Valhalla below.

Since then though, there’s been no word on when we’ll see Kratos in another video game, though there have been rumours of a remaster for the original trilogy, as well as the occasional rumbling of where his next adventure will take place, and what mythology he’ll tear through.

While we wait, a new collector’s item has been released for fans of the series, as a new line of Youtooz are dropping later this month featuring some iconic PlayStation characters.

The new range will include Astro Bot, Sly Cooper, Ratchet from Ratchet And Clank, and, of course, Kratos from God Of War.

They’re adorable chibi-style figures that would look great on a shelf, so if you’re a fan of any of the respective series, keep an eye out for their launch on 24 November.

Kratos will also star in an episode of the Secret Level anthology series, which will star a variety of video game characters in short stories and even include an episode about the failed IP Concord.

As for Krato’s appearance, he’ll be played by Christopher Judge who’s reprising his role from the past two games, and he's one of the top fan picks to play Kratos in the live-action TV series on the way.

The Kratos Youtooz figure will launch on 24 November, so if you’re keen to get your hands on some official PlayStation merch, this will be one for you.
