God of War Ragnarök wins yet another Game of the Year award, this time the prestigious BAFTA Game Awards.

God of War Ragnarök wins yet another Game of the Year award, this time the prestigious BAFTA Game Awards in the UK.

Throughout 2022 and beyond, God of War Ragnarök, the follow-up to Santa Monica Studios’ amazing 2018 soft reboot has been scooping up pretty much all the awards. Though, FromSoftware’s Elden Ring has had something to say about that.

During The Game Awards 2022, God of War Ragnarök claimed a total of 10 nominations and ended up taking a total of 6 gongs from the ceremony. Whereas Elden Ring would win the ultimate prize, the Game of the Year.

Well, God of War Ragnarök has been at it again, claiming an incredible 14 nominations at the BAFTA Games ceremony. However, on this occasion, the latest adventures of Kratos and Atreus claimed the almighty EE Game of the Year trophy.


The celebrations did not end there for the Santa Monica crew because God of War Ragnarök also won ‘Best Animation’, ‘Best Audio Achievement’, ‘Best Music’, ‘Best Performer in a Leading Role’ for Christopher Judge (Kratos), and ‘Best Performer in a Supporting Role’ for Alison Jaye (Angrboda).
